The blend 🤌✨

This was our first session transitioning away from a full coverage root retouch… and into grey blending — and just look at that softness.

Instead of covering every grey, we strategically highlighted throughout and finished with a warm honey bronde toner to diffuse and soften the contrast.

Here’s the difference:
• Full coverage root retouch = solid color, higher maintenance, visible grow-out line
• Grey blending = softer, dimensional, more forgiving as it grows out

Each time we repeat this process, her greys will become more and more camouflaged, not erased — which means less harsh lines and longer-lasting results between appointments 🙌

If you’re over the constant root touch-ups but not ready to fully embrace your greys… I’m your girl! 💁‍♀️

Lighting plays a HUGE role in how your hair color looks. ☀️💡

• Natural outdoor light can pull out brighter, warmer tones
• Indoor lighting can make hair appear deeper or more muted
• Direct sunlight makes dimension and brightness POP
• Shade and cooler lighting can make blondes look ashier or softer

That’s why sometimes you leave the salon obsessed, then get in your car and think, “Wait… why does it look different already?” 😂

Hair color is reflective! It changes depending on the environment, the time of day, your outfit colors, the background, and even your phone camera settings.

The FIRST photo is the most true-to-life representation of her color in person — a soft, dimensional blend with creamy ribbons of brightness and natural depth. The rest show just how much lighting can shift the overall vibe of the exact same hair.

Moral of the story: trust your stylist… and maybe don’t judge your fresh color solely by your Target parking lot lighting 😉✨
